Theater im Keller (TiK) –Theatre in the Cellar from Graz is one of the oldest independent theatres, and has been operating since 1951. A particular emphasis of their repertory is less-known and unproduced texts. TiK has staged a number of Evald Flisar’s plays, as their long-term programme goal is to stage all of them. So one of his newer plays has also found itself on their stage, Comedy about the End of the World, for which he received the Grum Award in Kranj two years ago. The Graz staging
is the first performance of this play in German. The critics called the performance of Comedy about the End of the World the best performance of the "Evald Flisar project" so far.
